The Follower 

John 8:12 - Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will never walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”

This message will explore the parable of the 10 virgins in Matthew 25. There is one eternal light that gives illumination while The Follower is still resident in this dark world. The Follower will face the rulers, powers, world forces of this present darkness and also spiritual forces of wickedness that are still in heavenly places, as indicated in Ephesians 6:12.

There is another separation amongst the virgins depicted in the parable. It is another warning for those who are “believers”, but find themselves deficient of what it takes to come out to the bridegroom. We are exploring what made the difference between the 5 that had oil and the 5 that did not have oil. This is to be resolved in short order for the true follower of Jesus Christ.
